The IAS has been producing publications ever since its foundation, at first in Munich only , and after Armenia's independence in Yerevan too. Not only are publication costs more affordable there but the resulting can be more readily distributed among Armenia's population. The following is a brief list of the publications of the IAS (in Armenian, unless otherwise specified):
- "Armenia. The first genocide of the 20 th century" by Peter Lanne, a historian. The book was published in 1977 both in German and in English (translation by Krikor Balekdjian. The English edition is now out of print).
- "Dostyevsky, Tolstoy and Baruir Sevag" a religious-philosophical study, by Dr. E. Hovhannisian, published in Armenian (1978, out of print).
- "Homeland voices" published in 1978 and "Homeland evidences" published in 1986, by Levon Mkrtchian, an expert in the history of Soviet Armenia. Both books are devoted to the formation of the underground nationalist movement in Soviet Armenia.
- "Are the Turks Europeans?" by B. Münnich, attorney, written in German and in 1979-1980 published in German,English, French and Russian. The Russian translation was reprinted in 1991 in Yerevan by the Armenian National Union.
- "The universal Declaration of Human Rights" the only complete Armenian translation of the UN Declaration (1982).
- "Song of songs" of Baruir Sevag, translated in German by Dr. Raffi Kantyan (1983).
- "The Armenian genocide" collected documents about the Armenian genocide, in English. At present three volumes have been published: the first (several documents) in 1987, the second (austrian documents) in 1988, and the third (contemporary documents) in 1991.
- "A century-long struggle" by Dr. E. Hovhannisian, a history of ARF Dashnaktsutiun in two volumes; published in Russian in 1991 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the party.
- "The unforgettable past" by Hagop Holobikian, contains the reminiscences of a genocide survivor (1995).
- "Johannes Lepsius, an Armenophile public figure and publicist" by S.N. Hayruni (Yerevan 2001).
- "State and power" by Dr. E.Hovhannisian (Yerevan, 2002).
- "Armenians in Turkey Today: A Critical Assessment of the Situation of the Armenian Minority in the Turkish Republic" (in German) by Tessa Hofmann, a German scholar in minority rights and genocide studies and an honorary member of IAS, published in German in 2002.
- "Annunciation: your questions, your answers" by Grigor Apoyan (translated from Russian onto Armenian by Dr. E.Hovhannisian - Yerevan 2002).
- "The problems of the Armenian Cause and the ways to their solution" by Dr. E. Hovhannisian (Yerevan, 2003).
- "Until everything is lost" collected articles in Russian, by Dr. E.Hovhannisian (Yerevan, 2003).
- "The religious essence of globalization" by Dr. E.Hovhannisian, in Russian (Yerevan, 2003).
- "A survey of the activities of the Armenian Genocide Recognition Committee" by Tessa Hofmann, the chairman of the committee, published in German in 2003.
- "A history of Armenian devildom" by Vartan Grigorian (translated from Russian onto Armenian by Dr. E.Hovhannisian - Yerevan 2004).
- "On the way to the museum - His last day", in Armenian by Dr. E.Hovhannisian (Yerevan, 2005).
Besides these books, the Institute has published the magazine "Tesaket" (Point of view) in 1999-2000 (five issues plus an appendix explaining "The Armenian Provinces, an educational program for schools).
- "Tesaket", collected articles published in the same magazine by Dr. E.Hovhannisian -in russian and in armenian, Yerevan 2006.
- "Why does the World keep quiet", by Dr. Eduard Oganessian, published in armenian, Yerevan 2007.
- "For 75.th Birthday of Eduard Oganessian", by Institute for Armenian Studies, published in armenian, Yerevan 2007.
